The Grave City Ghost Walk is a trek throughout a select area of Moundsville. Moundsville, known for its dark history makes an interesting area to explore the supernatural. From burial mounds, to a notoriously prison with a bloody past to sights of untimely ends Moundsville has it all.
Moundsville gets it's name from the many burial mounds throughout it's valley and out the surrounding creeks and runs. Some records indicate as many as 10 mounds existed in the area alone. Many of the mounds were destroyed by settlers long ago, however a few remain including the largest conical burial mound in North America, the Grave Creek Mound! The enormous Grave Creek Mound will also be featured along the tour! So join us as we venture throughout the streets of this old river town, which is known by some to be The City of the Dead, as we attempt to experience and incite some of Moundsville's Dark History.

The museum is located within The Sanford Center (As seen on A&E's My Ghost Story and Paranormal Quest "This Is Reality"), a former elementary school known for it's charged atmosphere, unexplained footsteps, shadows, disembodied voices and it's locality to Indian burial ground. Both the museum and the school, make for an amazing investigation!

PUBLIC PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS

The Public Paranormal Explorations will be featured at the former Sanford Elementary School and will include the notoriously haunted collection that makes up the Archive of the Afterlife "the National Museum of the Paranormal."
The PPEs will be scheduled and posted on the Archive's FACEBOOK page.
Admission for the PPEs will be $15.00 per person unless listed otherwise on the Archive's Facebook page or the PPEs Facebook Event Page.
Payment can be made at the door CASH preferred.
The doors will be locked at 10:20 PM as the tour will begin at that point in time. Thank You !!
